My coins...

Me and my kids are determined to go to Florida in about a year. So to keep my kids from taking coins in my car, we now put them in a little purple bucket. When the bucket is about 3/4ths full. We take it to either Zion's Bank or UCCU (I just found out that they have a coin counter as well) and cash it in. It is way better than the Coin Star that takes 10% of your money.

I found couponing to disneys web page a while ago and started to follow how she helps earn money from answering surveys, collecting coins and other ways.

Yesterday we cashed in the following amounts

$41.00 in coins
$50.00 from grandma selling land that she gave to my mom to split up between me and my brothers.
$10.00 from a Toy Voucher
$13.00 found in my purse, (well it was from Clint and his co-workers eating out, I there was more, but used some of it at Walgreen's and gave Clint the remainder of our eating out fund allowance)

Then...
$15.00 back from my Walgreen's Purchases
and
$20.00 being mailed off from Rebates (have not received the money yet, so there will be $20.00 more for the fund...YEA!

Oh..ya!!! I also went thru City Deals last week for the 1st time, spent $19.00 and received a $25.00 gift certificate to a local beauty school and a $20.00 gift certificate to the famous PURPLE TURTLE...(my friend Brittani's Dad owns the fab, place, how about this for a give away?)

Bringing my total to $711.00...flights will be taken care of by Sky Miles...phew!

Leslie from One Cheap Chick found the full sized Bop-It game on price cut at Target for $15. She combined the $5 manufacturers coupon here with the $3 off Target coupon here to get it for only $7! Using these same coupons, you can get the travel sized version for only $1.99!

Princess and the Frog Update

The Princess and the Frog DVD will be released on Tuesday, March 16th. To celebrate the release, you can head on over here and print a coupon valid for $10 off The Princess and the Frog Blu-ray/DVD combo pack!I would suggest printing this coupon now while it’s available.

To sweeten this coupon deal further, there are 2 mail in rebates for this movie! Both rebates allow photocopies of the receipt and a proof of purchase. There are 2 of these Proof of Purchases available on the Blu-ray/DVD combo packs… which means you can buy 1 combo pack and submit for both rebates! Yay!

Rebates Available:
Buy 2 boxes of Band-Aids and The Princess and The Frog on Blu-ray or DVD to get a $5 rebate! Check out all the details and print the rebate form here. This is a great rebate because it should be pretty simple for you to score FREE Band-Aids. Check out some of the Band-Aid deals I’ve posted about here and here.

Buy any roll of FrogTape Multi-Surface (24mm, 36mm, or 48mm) painters tape and The Princess and The Frog on Blu-ray or DVD to get a $5 rebate. Check out all the details and print the rebate form here. I’m not quite sure how much these rolls of FrogTape are, so if you have an idea, let us know in the comment section!

Target will have the The Princess and The Frog Blu-ray/DVD combo pack on sale for $26.99. After the $10 coupon and both $5 rebates your final cost will be as low as $6.99… not too bad!
Thanks Hip 2 Save!

P.S. I would check Walmart. I think they are usually $24.99. Not sure though.

Disney Give a Day Get A Day

I just got this information in my email box. I have heard of it but go here to get the details...

We want to inspire one million people to volunteer a day of service to a participating organization in their communities. So we're celebrating these volunteers' good works by giving each of them a 1-day, 1-theme park ticket to the Disneyland® Resort or Walt Disney World® Resort, free. There's no better time to make a dream come true for others and let us make a few come true for you.

You must pre-register and sign up through this site to volunteer and complete your service at an eligible volunteer opportunity in the fifty United States, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico or Canada to receive a ticket after verification of such service. Ticket quantities for this program are limited. You must be at least 18 to sign up. You may only sign up a maximum of 8 members of your household. Children must be at least 6 to participate in the program. One ticket per person, regardless of the number of times you volunteer. Program begins January 1, 2010 and continues until tickets are distributed or until December 15, 2010, whichever occurs first. Your voucher for a free ticket must be redeemed by December 15, 2010, and used on the same day of redemption
