I am sitting here tonight, talking with my friend Becky giving tips on couponing. She is in Hawaii and I am very envious of her living there right now as here in Utah I am enjoying bitter cold temperatures. She menitoned that she would be teaching a class on Couponing and needed my help. (I told her I could be on the next flight; however my transaction would not clear, and I did not have any time to research for any great deals; so I will freeze here in Utah! Sorry Becky)

I will update you on my Smiths (Kroger) deals that I got today.

What else. . .

What a week and it is just the start of the wee morning hours of Wed. . .

Sunday I was out SICK . . .it was awful. I am so thankful for my Brother in Law Dr. Sanderson to get me a prescription to get feeling well. . . Monday I was a whole new person; however my house was not the same. I did get around 6 load of laundry done! Phew e. Made it to the amazing Smith sale on Tuesday afternoon, with the kids and two small shopping carts. . . to be shared tomorrow, but lets just say it was a great savings of 87% Which most of the coupons I used are printable. . . .I will share later. . .then my great plan was to work on that massive pile of Scentsy; but Taber had climbed in and locked the car with out me knowing and ended up locking my keys, phone, and purse in the car.

Upon waiting for the police to show up to my house and unlock my car parked in my garage, I managed to get the kids ready for bed and fed the monsters. No I can not sleep. Thus this post.

Ok . . . So I promised I would attempt to write more. . . I lied. . . ok not really I had high hopes to. It is just become crazy with a kid in sports that needs to be to practice and well the list goes on and on. . .


So I had a small class over to teach them the grocery smart fab way of gathering a shopping list. I was fun just the girls. .  . I promised I would write and give them the links to a few web pages.

1. Disney Movie Rewards - Click on this link HERE; log In or Sign in. . . and enter this code 717951325037 to get your coupon for Beauty and the Beast. I just checked and the coupon is now only $5.00 off. . . There is also two rebates for $5.00 each you can get the forms HERE for the Cambells Soup; and HERE for the Western bagles. I have been told that they are found at Walmart.

2. Swagbucks . . . you can see my posts HERE or Click HERE to Register. What this site is for is a search engine. . . rather than using google or bing. . .I use this. USUALLY. . . with in a few searches you can get points towards prizes or GIFT CARDS (which I cash in on Amazon.com) You can choose from a variety of prizes including gift cards. My favorite is a $5 Amazon.com gift card. It costs 450 Swagbucks. You get 30 Swagbucks for joining and can win anywhere from 12 – 25 possibly more.each day if you search until you win in the morning and in the evening. I usually win within my first 5 searches. They also have Swagcodes out at least 5 times a week that can be worth 1 – 10 Swagbucks. I just can not tell you what they are. . . and do not share with any one else or they will find out and you will not be able to redeem for prizes. . You also get points for Referrals. . . I can expand on that if you leave me a comment. . .

3. Surveys. . .I will have to go on about this a bit more later. . . however if you want to start signing up to start earning money I use Opinion Outpost the most. I have earned $60.50 in less than a year. You can cash out for a check or can redeem for Amazon Gift Cards! ! ! A way to take money and put towards gift cards. Some of the surveys are long and some are short. You must have 50 points to redeem a gift card or cash off.

4. Savings Bucket. . . I mentioned to the gals that I have set up a separate savings account that I put in my rebates. I did not tell them that we have a savings bucket that we put all the loose change from the car, pockets, washer and anything we find on the floor into the purple bucket and cash it in every other month. Honestly it is the best thing I have done. My kids no longer look for dimes and quarters for the dumb candy machines. . . If they do ask me I just remind them that it is either for this toy that may break or to Disney. . .This way they know that we are working on a goal as a family and a fun vacation is coming. they do know that they have to wait for awhile.

My Plan for the Week - Macey's and Walgreens

With it being Monday night, there is not a huge desperate plan for me to get any deals. . .

However, remember that Macys case lot ends Tuesday night. . . I was not to impressed with the deals on the items. Smiths has had better deals on veggies and other odds and ends to stock up on. Honestly the best place that I have found is Smiths. I did get the Western Family Mac and Cheese, due to being completely wiped out. They also have a few good coupons that I picked up items on. I think these prices are right, but check just to make sure.

Poptarts $.98 each, limit 4
I bought 3, (and different flavors, make sure you get the different flavors. For every 5 you can go online and submit for a FREE movie ticket or other rewards. It is a limit of one code per person and only one flavor per reward. They have 25 flavors to try and a total of 5 rewards per person)
Used $1.25/3 coupon.

Farm Bread $.98 each, limit 4

Ragu Pasta Sauce $.98 each, limit 4 (I have way to much of this from when Albies was around) Pasta anyone?

Walgreens

No big plans. . . Pluckers are a good price with coupon plus you will recieve a $3.00 RR when you buy one. So pretty much FREE.

I do currently have a $3.00 RR that expires this week. So I think I will use that and get another RR to use later on. I will post more information about Walgreens later, I am thinking this weekend. . . if not bug me about it!!!

Long Time.. . ...

I have been very busy the last few weeks. I have more responsibilities at work and has increased my to do list. Sorry for the delays. I have been so swamped in coupons and trying to get caught back up it has been overwhelming. So here I come again. . .

If anyone has any suggestions on things that you would like to see from this blog, please feel free to ask. . . That is if anyone is still checking. . . I will be hosting a few classes the first part of May and have openings to teach a few more classes.

Nabisco Savings! ! !

Yay! There is a yummy new Nabisco coupon available! Just head on over to the Nabisco Cookie Facebook page and become a fan (if you haven’t already). After doing so, click on the “Savings” tab to print a $1 off any two Oreo or Chips Ahoy cookies coupon! Pair this coupon up with the FREE package of Nabisco cookies when you purchase one package and one gallon of milk coupon from yesterday to score a really sweet deal (note: you’ll have to buy 3 packages of cookies and a gallon of milk to use both coupons).

Also watch local grocery stores for a tear pad coupon for $1.50/1 Nabisco Cookies with 1 Gallon of Milk. Walmart has the best prices currently on these cookies with roll backs at $1.98, milk was $1.66 = $3.64 - $1.50 = 2.14 or $1.07 each

Also remember the first Monday of the each month you can print a coupon for FREE cookies when you become a fan of Nabisco on Facebook. The coupon requires you to buy 2 bags of cookies and 1 gallon of milk. . . (this is what the first part of the paragraph of the savings is talking about. . .

Disney

I usually find information at Couponing to Disney. I am not 100% sure how I found her blog, but became interested in how she saves for a trip to Disney World. I have been collecting money to head to Florida to get a family vacation. Yes our family goes on vacations camping or to Lake Powell....but I am ready to go AWAY....

So here is a list of ways that I am saving money:

1. Coupons, bet you did not know that one!!!

2. Rebates...I mailed off $80.00 two weeks ago. . .

3. Opened a 2nd Savings account that I do not know about

4. Have a small purple bucket to put loose change in at the end of the week, or pennies we find at the play ground, car or dryer.

5. Earnings from my side business go into my 2nd savings account.

6. Take online surveys to earn money (still trying to figure it out)

Hygine Kits

Our church is gathering on Saturday to put together hygiene kits...for the people of Haiti..each kit needs the following

2 Unbreakable Combs (no sharp handles)
4 Toothbrushes (packaged)
1 Tube of toothpaste (6-8 oz, no pumps)
2 bars of soap (approximately 4 to 5 oz)
2 Hand Towels (new towels, approximately 15"x25")

If any one has extra toothpaste, toothbrushes or soap, new wash rags ect... that they would like to donate please email me...

Grocery Updates and Deals

I will update the newest and latest deals tomorrow afternoon, after I get home from work and meeting with my HOA management company...I took an evening to watch Julie & Julia...thus missing the SWAG...oh well..I will keep on searching and earn the swag point back somehow...I am also going to make my New Years Goals...yes, 13 days after the fact, but hey better late than never right...and hey I am still posting...go me!
